Hello my lovely!
Thank you so much for your interest in writing for Life is Limitless. I feel excited and honoured that you want to share your thoughts and ideas with us.
Below you’ll find some guidelines for submitting your guest post. Not all submissions will be accepted but those that adhere to the following guidelines will have the greatest chance of being featured.
➳ Your post must be 100% original. That means, not something you have used before on your own blog or elsewhere,
➳ Posts should be between 800-1500 words. Around 1000 is a good amount of words to aim for but if the content is brilliant, less or more words will also work just fine.
➳ Please write a strong headline, you’ll want to write a headline that grabs attention or intrigues the reader to click to read more. If you need help with this, I can send you a guide to writing headlines. Just let me know.
➳ Please use a positive and inclusive tone in your posts. We don’t do rants, negativity or sarcasm at Life is Limitless and the point of every post is to educate, empower or inspire. With that in mind avoid controversial topics such as politics or religion.
➳ Your post must not include any commercial links or links to your website or social media channels. You can use links to supporting information or other posts on Life is Limitless if it supports you to make your point. There will be an opportunity to include a link of your choice in a short bio we’ll include at the bottom of your post.
➳ Your post must not aim to sell anything in your post, your article should be personal, inspiring, educational and informative.
➳ Please include a short bio that tells the reader who you are, what you do and 1-2 links of your choice to a page on your website or a social media channel. For an example of a guest post I wrote and the bio I submitted click here.
➳ Using a relevant and insightful quote at the start of your post is a great way to grab attention draw the reader in,
➳ Make your post personal and tell a story using your own personal experiences. If your post contains only advice without anything to back up how you know this, I’m unlikely to use it.
➳ If you want people to leave a comment – say so by asking the readers a question at the end of your article and actually state that you would like them to leave a comment.
➳ Please aim to be available the day I publish your piece to be able to share and promote to your audience and to answer any comments that might be made on your article.
➳ Please feel free to submit images with your post but be aware that I may not use them. I will use stock photography if I don’t use your images.
➳ Subscribe to the website. If I can see that you are a fan of the site, rather than just trying to get some free traffic, I’ll be more inclined to use your article.
➳ Read the About page of this website and take a look at some of the posts already written (such as this one, this one and this one) before you submit an article. That way your article is more likely to be on topic and in keeping with the style of content already used here.
➳ Submit an article on any of the following topics: travel, business, facing and overcoming fears, spirituality, creativity, self-expression, freedom, connection, overcoming addiction and personal growth. As well as your standard blog post, we also accept photography posts, video posts, poetry posts and art posts as long as they tell a story and provide benefit to the reader.
Now that you’ve read the guidelines, if you are still interested in submitting a piece for publication on Life is Limitless then simply drop me a line at email@example.com using the subject line: GUEST POST SUBMISSION. In the email include your post (ideally in word format), a short bio with 1-2 links, a head and shoulders shot and any images you have.

If I feel your post is not a fit, I will let you know as soon as possible so that you can publish it on your own site or submit it elsewhere. Due to my heavy workload, please note that I’m unable to provide feedback on every submission I pass on.
If I think the post could work for the site with a few changes, I’ll either ask you to make those changes or I will edit the post myself. I’ll make sure you see any changes before the post is published.
That’s it from me and other than that I can’t wait to read your article.
